La Tania

The Club Royal La Tania chalets are built in a traditional Savoyard style, and each chalet has its own charm, with furnishings and fittings varying slightly from chalet to chalet. Chalets are either individual or twinned and are equipped with all modern conveniences.

All kitchens have a fridge, freezer, dishwasher and oven; most of the chalets have a fireplace or Norwegian stove and a television. There is parking space near the chalet, and further places (open air and under cover, which must be paid for) a few hundred metres away.

La Tania is nestled in between the two major resorts of Courchevel and Méribel in the Northern Alps and was originally built in 1992 for the Olympic Games, as a satellite resort for Courchevel. La Tania has become one of the best value resorts for all the family both in winter and in summer. The architecture in the resort consists mainly of traditional style chalets with a few apartment blocks built to blend in with the forest backdrop. Eurogroup has both chalets and apartments in La Tania and in the winter there is hotel accommodation available for skiiers too.

La Tania is ideal for families; the pedestrianised centre of the resort has a strong sense of community and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Activities include hiking, cycling, roller-blading and swimming; with pony rides and a children’s’ club for younger members of the family. La Tania offers a lot of water-based activities such as rafting, hydrospeed and canyoning for those more adventurous holidaymakers. The beautiful landscape is ideal for rambling and hiking.

For those who wish to travel around, you can visit the resorts of Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens which all make up the 3 Valleys ski area, or the towns of Moûtiers and Albertville. There is also access to the National Parks of la Vanoise and les Ecrins, havens for wildlife and mountain animals.
